Hi Denise – What a lovely house. I have a 1924 bungalow in the Mayfair neighborhood (northwest side of Chicago). I’m contemplating making some improvements … but I wanted to ask about those book cases. The ones in the dining room. Where did you get them?

Hi Loraine! Yes, Mayfair! We looked at a number of bungalows in your neighborhood before this deal finally came through. Our bookcases are called Encore Library Bookcases and come from Dania Furniture in Northbrook. I highly recommend them. They’re very sturdy and can handle lots of books without the shelves sagging. They also have a close-out room where you can sometimes find the bookcases for a good discount.
